Anyone who knows me knows I'm a fantasy kind of guy and a weathering nut also. This time a fantasy without the weathering a shiny new SD40 in the somewhat CAT scheme. I really dig the CAT yellow and thought this would work out good on a SD40. Just wonder if anyone else did a locomotive in the CAT scheme as I've not seen any at all.

Hmmmm....looks very "EJ&E-ish" !!! I LOVE it, but it appears to be orange on my computer screen. I would like to steal your idea, if you don't mind. There is a local Caterpillar dealer here, so I might be able to get the paint (CAT has "their" shade of yellow copyrighted. Thanks, UP !!!) and decals / stickers / emblems. Anybody know if exhausts remained the same with CAT re-powers ???
Yeah your computer screen might be off a bit. The color I used was Badger TTX yellow which was as close as I could get to the CAT color.
Looks better today !!! Not sure which was "off". The computer, me , or BOTH !!! Regardless, I still like it !!!
