As do I! The only thing that could be better here is to have another train on the low, or ex-NP, line while the hi, or ex-Milw line is filled like this! Here's a neat shot I got yesterday.
And here's the video of that coal load, I only had a few seconds to get pulled over and set up, which seems to be the norm for me!
We had a very frosty and foggy morning on Friday, and i got lucky getting this early mixed westbound for Laurel. It may have been a late running Z or an M train. Love seeing the thick frost on the air intakes.
It was oil train after oil train yesterday! Loads westbound and empties east. Lighting was dim but the fresh snow was highly reflective, making for some fun, but nippy, train watching!
Those are great photos, Alan, especially the last two. Thanks It's ironic that folks fight putting a pipeline underground, yet say nothing about the same amount of oil moving above ground every day.
Logic and reason do not apply to those folk! They use all the benefits of the things they whine about! Children, really.
Here's a couple of GE's sitting on the main and one track waiting for crews to take them east. The 5699 would sure be a challenge to do as a weathering project!
