Ok so relatively new to the hobby. Use to have a few sets as a kid, but that was 20+ years ago lol. I bought the new ESU WIFI cab control system and I’m looking for help to see the best decoder to go with ESU for working tortoise switches. I’ve been told Digitrax decoder, but also been told the switch 8, and that ESU switch pilot is good. So my question is which of the three would you all recommend and what would be required for each to work with my set up.
thanks to any and all help.

The ESU cab control system will work with any stationary decoder for actuating switches. ESU has plans, at some point, to add LocoNet support to their system, so a Digitrax DS64 (if you have enough tortoises to justify one). If only a small number, then I like the NCE SwitchIts for Tortoises

Ok that makes sense and thank you for the reply. I went ahead and got the DS64. I like how it doesn’t require expansions of any sorts for more than two switches. thanks again.
