For your meat packing plant, don't forget to have a few old box cars (real stinkers!) for dedicated service hauling hides out.

When you attached your fascia, what did you use? Looks like possibly screws and dress washers?

Thanks BC I may do that. The screws are short 1/2 inch standard sheet metal screws and no washers.
    Thanks , Mike

The picture show track below the layout. Do you just store trains there or can you run them to the top layout?

It is the lower level of the layout as well as staging there.
    Thanks , Mike

    Mike-

Darn. Next time I get sick, I'm coming to your house. I want to eat peanut butter crackers and play with trains!

Yesterday I had some time to make video #40 on the Albuquerque Carnuel & Tijeras RR.
Not complete on the forest end but getting there after the helix placement.

I really like your stream. Unlike some I have seen, which are merely a scenic effect tossed in, yours has a nice beginning to end flow.

Got a good chuckle from your "drawers open" comment! :)

Thanks BC , I am happy that I was even able to scenic such a strange shape area.
As we get older and watch more news we need to clarify comments or bloopers like that !!!
    LOL

Nice stream Mike, and the chaos is just showing work in process.....

The DS64 issue is interesting because that does not happen on my modules or layout, so it will good to see what you have in case it starts happening to me or the gang I hang out with.

Are you all using Digitrax systems?

On the DS64s, Mike, I have the same thing happen under a given set of circumstances.

I have three rooms and three power switches - one in each room.

The main room switch powers the Command Station (DCS100) and boosters - all layout track power and signals on the north end of the layout and I think one DS64.

The south room switch powers the south signal system and staging area DS64s.

The north room switch powers the north side signals and Oakville Yard DS64s.

If I do NOT turn on the center room first, the DS64s wherever I turn the power on will move.

In other words, as long as I turn on power to the Command Station first, everything stays where I had it.

    Hope this helps...
