(I may have posted this before) While sorting through my father's estate it became obvious to me that 90 percent of the family pictures dating well back into the last century had been destroyed by sitting under water for a long period of time. My maternal grandfather, who died before I was born from tuberculosis as a result of being exposed to mustard gas in WWI, was also a track worker. He eventually became a foreman and was well-paid. Thanks for the great photo. I agree that that looks like fairly heavy rail. Doug
