The new highlights caught me by surprise, but in a pleasing way. Thanks for helping keep us old folks awake...
Yes. Me too. These new colors/shades are more railroadianic than prior. Glad to see the baby-blue and pinks gone. It's a well received change..M
To Whom It May Concern: I know TrainBoard was recently hacked and down for six days. Now that it has been restored, I noticed the color scheme or theme is much darker and the text is a light gray which makes everything much harder to read. I've tried searching for preferences to change this but have not been able to find anything. Anyone who can point me in the right direction?
Just recently the colors changed on the TrainBoard home page. I don't know if it's just my computer or did you change the colors being used ? Because of the change and my colorblind type issues, I have a very hard time seeing who is responding to the forum threads. Is there a way i can adjust the colors the way I would like them so that I don't have a hard time? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Craig
Hi Craig - we did a major overhaul recently that changed the look of the site. We've been working on dialing in the color scheme over the last week and may have a few more changes in queue. To your question though, there are no user adjustments to change the site color scheme but your concerns may be addressed in a future update. Thx! -Mike
The names appear two places--in orange on gray under our avatars and in gray on white at the very bottom of the post in the time-and-date stamp. Does either of these work better for you than the other?
Only suggestion I have is to increase font size and contrast of the sign in prompt at the top of the screen. Otherwise, I think it is great.
Question on media displays. The title (or short description) shows on thumbnails but not when media is displayed. Many do not enter the comment/description. Can't they both be displayed at all times? This would really help when scrolling through sets of pics.
