I have a walthers turntable on my layout and it work pretty good for ten years old...sometime it is a little rough. For drawing your radius on your board.. I took a piece of 1 1/2 X 1/2 wood and drill a hole for a screw, then measure out in inches all the radiuses you plan on using. On your curve find the middle and screw down the screw on your mark and with a pencil in the hole for the radius you want and draw your curve. Then you will find it best to make sure you make a offset from your tangent to your curve (most of the time its 1/2- 3/4 inches for HO) so it will flow around the curve and not look like a toy when it hits the curves. Speaking of curves, you will be ok with one to check your curves, you will feel it when there is a bind in the curve.

yeah, the track that's about to be removed has 3 bad binds in it. I'm probably going to put the diesel shop in this layout since I'm pressed for room. The station I'm building looks great though. My wife surprised me last night when she picked up the dry foam I need for the logging "mountain." I may have made a mistake with the lifelike trees I ordered (no photo). they're HUGE. Like, one could fit on a 40' flatcar but never in a logging trailer huge. Good thing I ordered 3 different sizes.

Sorry, I've been checking out my 3 way switches. I've never seen them in HO before. There really neat.
