As the title says I have a Digitrax Zephyr and it seems that if the throttle is not set at least to three the loco barely moves and/or stops like it lost power. I have but one Atlas GP-40 with Digitrax decoder, Unitrack layout with ample feeders. I guess I'm just not sure whether I need to troubleshoot something with the throttle, the loco,... You have to adjust the starting speed by setting CV 2 so the loco starts to move on speed step 1. Before I adjust CV 2, I set CV's 3 and 4 (Acceleration and deceleration )to 0. I also set CV5 (top speed) to 255 and CV 6 (mid speed to) 125. Start setting CV 2 set to around 50 and work your way down to the value that gets the loco to start moving on speed step 1. Make sure your track and the wheels are clean before you begin programming.
