we could use one of these in "N" Scale...well any scale would be cool...tack the track and pour the ballast...run it... Sighted this machine working with a Tie & Track gang vicinity of St Marys (Beaverton, OR) June 2nd, on the Portland & Western. What an awesome machine...and still need one for my layout.
Were you wearing safety goggles? Those things can kick a rock pretty far! Nice shot, neat how you stopped the motion of the few rocks near the ties, in midair!
