To see what the GARX cars looked like you can google "branchline quanah box car" https://www.google.com/search?hl=en&safe=off&q=branchline+quanah+box+car&bav=on.2,or.r_qf.&bvm=bv.43828540,d.aWc&biw=1366&bih=643&um=1&ie=UTF-8&tbm=isch&source=og&sa=N&tab=wi&ei=O7JIUZCwCunVyQHS54DQBA Or even better, here's the Atlas car. Jason
I'd be down for one (either single car or multi-pack up to 3). Edit: Based on the route map, it thought that my transcontinental PRR probably would have crossed the Quanah. According to this article, there was, in fact, an interchange with what would have been my PRR at the namesake town itself. Definitely interested in this one.
Great. I am trying to avoid us just doing special runs that I am interested in but I am really wanting to see this one happen. Charlie
Oops, sorry I posted a link that had already been posted....didn't catch it the first run through... (This one: http://www.steamerafreightcars.com/modeling/new products/sunshine/qapboxmain.html )
Yes, I agree. I would like to see what other QAP boxcars looked like but pictures seem just about impossible to come by. Charlie
I would like to know what type of car we are talking about before I commit. I need something I could sneak into early to mid '70s.
. Glad to see post resurrected. I really like that QAP car with the Transcontinental Cutoff lettering. Any news on another Train board special release? Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk
We'll get back into talking about it soon. We've been tied up with software changes and server issues. I would love to do a QAP special run if we could get enough issues. There is also no reason that we can't do multiple special runs at one time if we can generate the interest. Charlie
