As you can see from these pictures, I have marked where some grinding will need to be done. When I first open up the frame, I mark which end of the motor is the top. Also which direction it sits in the frame. The green marks are where I removed parts of the frame with a grinding tool. I put the frame in a vise (gently) and grind with a dremel. The blue areas are where I filed down a very small amount to give the decoder a snug fit. There are some before and after pics. As for putting the decoder in, I followed the steps on the TCS website. I also used Kapton tape to isolate everything. Steve
Here are a couple of the final product. When I first wired it up, I kept the wires long. I tested it on the layout to make sure everything was fine. With that done I unsoldered the three wires and shorted them so its nice and neat for a snug fit. Hope this helps. Steve
