As I understand it, this is a Walther's issue. If you want MV lenses try this shop:
    http://www.discountmodels.com/m.v._lenses.shtml

I have no association with the shop other than being a satisfied customer who has bought lots of MV lenses from them.

As an aside, notice how you can't get Heki trees in the US anymore? Guess who their distributor was? I have to buy them out of Canada these days.

I've given up on MV lenses. I use fiber-optic. .020 works great most of the time. I also have .010 and .030. Just flare out a bulb with soldering iron heat.Paint the back silver, cut to length and install. Plus they light up. If that's desired.

    Have a good one,
    Wolf

Micro Kristal Klear does it for me when a lense is needed. A very small drop on a dental pick or a small paint brush with the loco sitting propped straight up. May need a second application once the first dries but leaves a nice slightly domed lense when done. Since it dries clear light comes through with no problem. May take a couple of days to fully dry so I suggest the two or three part application to build up with a thorough dry in between each.
