How do I make the center section wider (where the posts, photos, etc, are)?

Is there a way to make the center section wider (less of the crossbuck 'backdrops' on either side)? It is only 1/3 of the screen wide on my computer - the 'backdrop' is as wide as the main body on both sides of the screen, and the posts, photos etc are very small. It seems like it got smaller recently. I haven't changed any settings on my computer.

    Thanks

I get the same thing on my monitor. There's no current option for an individual user to adjust page width, but hopefully when the new upgrade comes around, the page width will be upgraded to enhance current monitor resolutions. [IMG]

yeah, it's very annoying. It looks ok on my work computer (where I shouldn't be looking at it :)....) but on my home computer w/ the big monitor, it's very small.

It seems like something changed recently, it's smaller now than it used to be, but I don't see any differences anywhere else on the computer from a resolution standpoint.

    Thanks though!

PS - I just opened your link, and yes, that's what it looks like for me also. Lots of wasted real estate on both sides of the screen!

I running Internet Explorer 8, in the bottom right corner is a magnifying glass. I click it and read the page at 125%. I could set it at 140% and fill the screen, but that take extra clicks and I'm too lazy for that. I assumed that everybody has that option.

When we do the upgrade we will be going back to a wide display. (Soon.)

In the meantime, you can use CTRL+MOUSE SCROLL to zoom in and out. Doesn't fit any more info on the screen, but at least it uses that empty space.
