I know Micro Trains has been offering Graffiti cars, one of which is a covered hopper with a giant Jack O'lantern face. While railfanning recently, I caught the actual car in service and thought I'd share it with the group: TCMX 20821, looks like the Great Pumpkin

I can't help but wonder...if the guy who 'tagged' that car..realizes how 'famous' it has become...LOL

Wow, think about the odds of catching one specific car, on the proper side w/ the graffiti at that. Locomotives spend most of their time on their home roads, but a freight car can be anywhere in the nationwide network of railroads. How many miles, and how many freight cars are there?

You need to go buy a lottery ticket!

I see that car about every other week. I comes into our yard and SCFE picks it up, they later return it and we send it north. I need to see where it is billed to the next time I see it come through. When I see it it is always turned the same direction.
I bought the MTL car because it runs on the FEC and I see it all the time.

Looking at rrpicturesarchives the earliest pic of it is from 5/2008, so it has been running around for a while.

I have been right there in that spot with Chessie. Of course, that car didn't go by the day I was there. It is a great railfan spot with all the light behind you.

I do think you should buy a lottery ticket.

BTW, the ACL Whopper Hopper is on display just to the left of this picture.

Thanks for sharing, Harold. The Approximate Time Period for this car remains "To Present!"
