    Hi,

Not seen any activity on this yet so I am sorry if I missed it.

I just picked up the new MT ATSF PS-2 hopper yesterday, and it had body mounted couplers. Place it on the test track with a few other cars and it rolled with the new wheels just fine and had no issues with the other rolling stock as of yet.

I hope this is the new MT we are seeing and that much more product will be comming from them with body mounted couplers.

Oh, and is is a very nicely done car in every other respect too!

David,I am fully persuaded that we will see more cars being release with body mounted couplers in the coming years.

From the one I looked at I agree that is a sweet looking PS2 hopper..

I'm all for body mounts up until the point that they force an unprototypical coupling distance between units (e.g. the new MT heavyweights and the Intermountain F units).

How does the roof walk look? I think it is laser cut wood.

The body mount coupler is huge progress for MTL.

Hopefully we'll get a 100 ton truck from them one of these days! :)

That is good news, still waiting for them to catch up with a few others on the etched walkways though.

Well I am not sure what it is made of, but it looks highly detailed. It is on par with everyone else as far as I can see.
