I am at a stumbling point right now guys. I have 3 RLW kits that I am sure are NP log cars. The mfg says it is of GN heritage but I know that is not right. I have a GN freight car pictoral and it is DEFINITELY not GN. I am looking for photos and can find several of the 51ft log cars but they are all letter for BN. Does anyone have photos of the NP 51 ft log cars? I have searched and cant find any that I can access. :tb-sad:

Have you tried posting this question to the NPTelltale group at Yahoogroups.com? You might shake a few interesting things out of that list.
I have tried almost evereything I can think of. The only thing I have been told is that there is a photo of what I am looking for in the NP frieght book by Sullivan. Unfortunately my LHS cant seem to find me a copy of it. I even struck out at the latest swap meet that I went to. Apparently the book is out of print right now.
See if your local library can get the book through inter-library loan. I've had lots of success going that route. Good luck!
