    A hard to acquire kit...

Congrats! That kit is like finding a 5 leafed clover... yeah harder to find than the 4 leafed ones ;).

I got one a few years ago off that auction site our hosts want us to click on above ;)... for over $50.00... OUCH!!! To think how much I could have saved had I just purchased one in 1990 for about $15.00 [discounted]... sigh!!! :we-twitcy:

HHHHHHHmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Let me think about this one. If it was next year I would want a fleet of FVM ribside baywindow cabooses. But honestly, there isnt really much out there that I can't live without right now. Which is a good thing for my girlfriends pocket book. If there was one thing I could REALLY use it would be a couple more MT disconnects to go with my Shay.

    Welcome to TrainBoard!

Do you have a favorite prototype? Or just enjoy a sampling of many things?

My wish list? Argh.... Grows ever longer.

I would like a Bar Mills Waterfront Willys.

    A Kato Milw NW2 #668.

    An Atlas M&St.L RS1 #845 in yellow/green (Classic w/factory MT!)

The Deluxe Innovations coming Gunderson wood chip in Milw, all six numbers.

    The M&St.L depot book (C&NWHS)

    Thank you =)
My favorite prototype in steams is a BR-50 (German type steam)
in Diesels is a BR-142 Ludmila and a DASH 8-40C
Its a pity, but this day I have only DASH model of these three types in N scale. (BR-50 i have in TT-scale but not in N)

Actually I thought more about it. All I want is the free time to start building my layout. I already have 60+ switches, 4 boxes of flex track, 12 building structures already built, another 15-20 structures still in the box, 200+ pieces of rolling stock to switch back and forth, 35+ pieces of motive power, and a 10'X11'6" room that is vacant. I just dont have the time.:tb-sad:

T-Trak could be just the thing for you! It is gaining interest right now in Europe.

Yes, our Model club has analogical to T-Trak system.
It is a very compact modular system.

During the Trains Unlimited tour of Germany in 2008 we visited the Cottbus diesel shops where Ludmilas were being overhauled, unfortunately we weren't allowed to take photos inside the shops.

For Christmas I'm still holding out for a Cab Forward and a Hiawatha, and maybe a 4-6-0 and a 70 tonner, with N scale you often have to do your Christmas shopping a year in advance and hope for the best.:tb-biggrin:

All I want for Christmas is ... some sort of super cool unit freight that works Seattle and North ... maybe containers, maybe closed hoppers, maybe ethanol tankers ... let's see what Santa can do ... want about 5 feet of cars, whatever ...

Well now that I'm finally retired, with all my body parts intact, I'll finally have a little more time. So I guess the new Ten Wheeler, if it makes it to market, and the Wicked Wandas kit so I can add another structure to my run down dive joints river front area.

And oh yeh a nice suitable room for a layout attached to a new house.

Atlas made my x-mas dream come true when they offered the MKT GP-40 shells decorated in green/yellow. Also I think my son is getting me the N Scale Collector MKT Bi Centennial caboose w/EOT light(I dropped enough hints & the E-Bay #) ;-)

"Henry" from the Tomix Thomas the Tank Engine series to round out my collection. And the freight car set from that series as well.

I'm not a huge Thomas fan, myself, but those little trains are outstanding runners, and huge crowd-pleasers at shows. We'll have a huge Ntrak layout set up, someone will be running an 80 car container train, someone else a 100 car coal drag, maybe there's an 18 or 20 car Amtrak flying around, and here comes a 3 car Thomas and the crowd goes wild. :sinister:
