Keep the images coming.. I love this thread. Just finished up a 4" x 48" shelf display to try modeling fall in the Appalachian Mts. Tossed it into Photoshop for some fog and lighting effects.
Jim That's an absolute perfect picture - I'm attempting to do a similar look on my small layout. Can you give a little detail on the trees - size, scratchbuilt or?
Wow, totally just made me home sick. Looking at this picture, I can feel myself leaning up against my Jeep with camera, locked on that second unit. It's mid June, early morning and I'm standing track side in Flagg Illinois, just west of Rochelle. Wow, when ever a picture can do that, you know you have created something. Nice work!
Quinnropia, I went to your "blodspot" and it won't let me out. Everytime I try to close it, it opens a new window.
I saw your blog and that is the most inspired urban modelling I've seen in a long time. The LED lighted Kato office buildings complete with an interior looks so good that I was half expecting little shoppers inside walking around and shopping for goods.
Here's three from my layout, from the Randgust Modesto & Empire Traction 70-tonner thread of about December 2009:
Beautiful work! I don't know about having any 'great' photos, but after seeing the beautiful foggy examples on here I had to have a go too [Paintshop Pro] Mike
