Friends, If I can ask your indulgence I'd like to ask you to take a look at a video I've posted on my web site. It's several shots of trains taken in the Washington, DC, Union Station in 2000. I'm slowly getting better with digital video and the software. I've copied 10 years of MiniDV tapes to my computer so I can gain some space. (It took 20 hours to copy all the video!) I have enough footage to do maybe 8-9 more train videos. What do you think? Nice! I was there 18 years ago, travelled from Ann Arbor MI to Washington DC by train, my first time on Amtrak. Had a great time, from there I went to New York City, Pennsylvania station and after three days back to Ann Arbor. The next year I went from San Diego to San Francisco, also by Amtrak. A beautiful trip along the pacific ocean. Met a lot of nice people as well.
