Kato SD70MAC's arrival?

Any word or sightings of the first run Kato SD70MAC's? The last thing I read said "March" and I know that locos rarely arrive "on time" but I thought I'd ask anyway

The last thing I heard from my fixer, er, I mean retailer, is that they haven't even been released to the distributers yet.

 

Feeling optimistic?
Does anyone ever remember a Kato product arriving on time, or early?
I can't...

 

Hehehe...I clicked on this thread in hopes that someone had just received their SD70MAC's...meaning mine would be on the way.

I'm new to the hobby and have never reserved anything like the SD70MAC's before. Realistically, when do y'all think we can expect to see them?

 

End of the month if not early next month. A March release could mean that they ship to distributors on March 31st (they are still released in March!) which means another week or two before we see them. Always look to the end of the release month for a product.

 

I was told this past weekend, that we should see the first run in the country in approx 3 weeks.
