I finally got around to my electric switches and was wondering what the metal piece with all the holes in it is used for? can you guys please post pics of your switching and transformer set ups. Also why does marklin switch kits give so little electrical wire, and where can I obtain more. Maybe its just me becasue my layout is kind of big and my switch boxes are all next to transformer basically on opposite end of most of my switches. Bummer :(

PS I just painted a nice BNSF colorway and logo in my trans/swit area and its turning out mighty fine.

wait so i dont have to run the wires from my switches all to the same plastic box your saying? do you have a picture I can see to relate to?

I used the metalic strip to connect a blue box to a white box. Older and new. Is that not what its for?
