To all, This message to inform you that a new page on my Possum Valley N scale logging layout can be seen on the traiN'ternet web site : http://www.trainternet.org. Select the english speaking section of the site then go to Layouts then to Possum Valley. Hope you like it. Comments welcome. Jean-Louis
Incredible! Reminds me of another famous logging layout by Paul Templar... *spelling?* One comment--since your Shays are wood-burners, would it be good to have spark arrestors on their stacks, being their main stomping grounds is in a dense forest?
If as he shows, western Oregon, they might not need spark arrestors. It's often wet enough in the Cascades.... BTW- Where is Paul templar these days...? Boxcab E50
This is one thing the Company is thinking about. However, as someone else said, this area is very wet and no major forest fire have been experienced since the start of the operation. Jean-Louis
Jean-Louis, Amazing work!!! You are quit the craftsman! I was able to view it at http://simonet.club.fr/Poss_us.htm
Spark arrestors! Wow! These logging guys are a tough crowd! I think it is just great with or without the spark arrestors. Always something to do, anyway. A really great job, Jean-Louis. And, I might add, a great web page, too!
