Since I had not seen a thread yet, I figured I would start one. Next weekend is the big 3 day National Train Show in Hartford. Who is planning on going? I will be there in my booth (255) and I hope forumites take a moment to come by and say hello.

To various members who are wondering what the NATIONAL TRAIN SHOW is. NTS is usually held in conjunction with the NATIONAL MODEL RAILROADING ASSOCIATION's National Convention. The NTS is usually a 3 day show that has most of your MAJOR model railroading manufacturers present, Athearn, Kato, MTL, Overland, Walthers, Bachmann, etc etc the list goes on. Go to: http://www.nationaltrainshow.org/2009/NTS09_overview.pdf for info and also go to:NMRA - National Train Show for a little more information. This show is where you will get information on new products, can talk with the manufacturers, and get some great prices on items, just released items and old stand-bys. The NTS is just a part of the NMRA yearly national convention, which is a model railroader paradise in it's own right. Lots to see and do at the convention even before going to the train show. YES, I am a member of the NMRA (25+ years) and this is a plug for the NMRA, the great conventions, shows and PEOPLE involved with this fine association.
To far for me, I live in South Florida. Hope those going will take pictures and post them. Wish they would have something like this down here in Fort Lauderdale. Those going hope you going all have fun.
