Hi folks: Here are a few pics of some scenery I've started on my new Tacoma layout. It's the old Tacoma and Eastern station near Milwaukee Gulch. There are also a few shots of the Milwaukee trestle and NP's Tacoma roundhouse, yet to be built. I had to add some scenery, just to put some color on the layout
I like the silos...especially that green one...:tb-wink::tb-biggrin: *All kidding aside...scenery of any kind does always make things look/feel better. .
Thanks guys: Dave all the structures are scratch built except the water tank, and the Rix Products highway bridge. I spliced two Kato girder bridges for the crossing at Reservation tower. I have a bunch more buildings and stuff the scratch build in the future.
This is amazing work! Great job. I wish I could start building my layout. Oh well one day. Thanks for the inspiration. Cheers, Bob
That's very cool. What are you working on in the yard? those white styrene boxes look like a cool project!
They are a Milwaukee Road EF-5 4 unit set of boxcabs. I just need to finish the details on them. They have 16 wheel drive and traction tires so they pull like crazy. Cheers: Bill
