I've loaded new photos on my web site this weekend, including shots of custom diesels, open loads, weathering, way cars and a loco wheel cleaner I've made that works great. Hope you enjoy them! I welcome your comments or questions... http://members.cox.net/vgniner/vgn-page-custom01.htm
Just one question for you. Is Norm any relation to a certain Mr. Bill? Other than that, good web site.
Great looking additions. Nice to see the magazine stuff on your site. Your site is one of the better sites (of any kind) on the web. Opens quickly to an introduction, no gimicky "flash" to slow down dial up users, and VERY easy to navigate and get around. I have refered my former web marketing professor to it and he agrees and has shown it in class as an example of a good web page. Kudos. BTW: Haven't heard from Norm in a long time. Did he ever get out of the Shrink 'Em situation? Is Sue still distraught? And what about that darn cat? Norm has inspired me and now "Crazy Ed" runs Coconion Auto Body in my world.
Hello Verne, great looking models, great page: I always enjoy coming back to your site! I am currently preparing a military train, including M7 Priests (Minifig). I understood that the ring for the machine gun is on the right side of the vehicle, yours have it on the left. Before I mess up my models: Do you have any pictures showing the left-hand position? Right-hand as per following pic: Cheers Dirk
Wow! that is very nice work. Thank you for posting hints & tips, it really helps other modelers. Also your articles in the magazines. Very cool
Nice job, Verne. Really like the weathering article. I'm going to give the dented car a try. Thanks. Mike.P
Nice place to visit, Verne! Not many (non-commercial) websites get regular (and very cool) updates like yours. I'd say that Verne is another one of them dang bar-raisers!
Great work Vern ! IMHO, your weathered/detailed engines and cars could be easily mistaken for some (good) HO stuff BTW, any chance you would market "shrink'um" someday ? I'd like to give it a try next time I meet the taxman or step mother marc
Vern Looked at your site for the first time. Don't know how I missed it for so long. Really great looking items. Really nice.
Thanks for your comments, all! Exadore, it seems Norm is a distant relative to Mr. Bill. Their luck is certainly equally bad... John, I'm humbled that my site would be used as an example, thanks for your kind comments. As a fellow northern AZ modeler, we both have terrific inspiration! N Scale Norm is indeed due for an update...I have recently expanded the available capacity for my site content by 300%, so I no longer have the excuese that I'm out of storage space! Perhaps a sequel is in order. Dirk, thanks for the great M7 photo, I really don't know if Minifigs got is right or not...but the sides of the vehicle in the photo are much cleaner, and the proportions of the vehicle seem a bit smaller then the MF model. I'll do more checking...keep up posted on your military train progress! Steve, my friend, it takes one to know one! Mark, thanks for the compliment...I have never found any Shrinkum, and would make the most of it if I found some. The taxman could hang out with Bernie, my N scale attorney. As for stepmothers, ROTFLMAO!
Verne, Whenever I look at your work it always amazes me. Your work is the benchmark for all of us to reach. Thanks for sharing.
I created a new lead image for my website...Njoy! [ September 16, 2005, 09:03 AM: Message edited by: Warbonnet-Fan ]
Verne, I really like your work (modeling and photography)! I especially appreciate the info on the SF way cars. I have a few Atlas cabooses sitting around that need your treatment. Don't worry--I'll not send them to you in the mail, I'll try it myself.
