Couple years ago, I made a big mistake. I purchase a Peavey PS-2 from Uncle Will, and now I am completely hook. I cant stop from adding more FRs into my collection.FR is known for its beautiful handcrafted cars and engines, and are highly collectible. Please show us your FR cars in this post. I know Jurg has half of the FR production. Here is one of FRs PS2s. This week, I was able to add two more FR cars to my collection. I added a Conrail Coalporter and a GN woodchip car.
Nice stuff from Harald, the only pitty is this Woodchip Hopper is not the correct type GN used; even the "master" is doing mistakes...
Mistake??? John you know better than to run something like that on your layout. Sell it to me and I'll run it on mine. It will look right at home! Even without the lil umbreller I'll give you what you paid for it.
Would like to show some pictures too, but, to be honest, I don't have one original FR, everything build from FR kits or parts and mostly customized.
I am a big fan of FR and his cars. That is one reason why Ztrack has offered a subscriber car every year from them. I have a nice collection of FR cars, including both US and European prototype. My favorite car from them has to be last years Milwaukee Road PS2-CD hopper. The weathered version with patched reporting marks is just incredible in my opinion! Rob
Post them anyway. I think his kits are awesome too. Tim build this Maxi III for me. This one is from you, Gerd.
Rob, I wish I had order that car. I hope I can find one on epray, but FR goes for pretty good prices. There are no bargains when it comes to FR. Collectors jump on out of production items.
Coalporter: More to come, have to make some more photos and search my archive...and build some more kits!
