CP had RS-10s and RS-18s - no RS-11s. They also had Baldwin DRS-4-4-1000s, the predecessor to the RS-12.
Thank you Triplex for the information. Is there any N scale model of the CP engines listed in your reply ? I mostly model CNR but it doesn't hurt to have some engines from the competition: CP, D&H, TH&B. Jacques P.S. I see by your signature that you are interested in Brazilian railways. You can check my post in the railfanninfg pictures subforum. I'll post more pictures today.
No DRS-4-4-1000, at least in plastic. I believe Life-Like Canada made an RS-10/18 (the two are nearly identical externally).
Aiyeee! Don't get me started on these micro-layouts -- they're too much fun too fast -- I'll never finish the "big one in the garage" :qq:
But don't worry about the lack of a DRS-4-4-1000. It sounds like you're modelling the Northeast, and CP's Baldwins generally stayed on Vancouver Island. RS-10s and RS-18s, whereas, would be ubiquitous in the East.
I've been working at a snail pace on my layout but it's finally completed. I changed the design so by adding a cassette I can connect with " The rest of the world ". The grain silo is complete, so is the depot. I improved on the scenery I was surprised to see the layout featured in the may issue of Crarl Arendt "Small layouts Scrapbook" http://www.carendt.us/scrapbook/page85/index.html Here are some more pictures.
