This weekend we were supposed to take the Cub Scouts on an outing and picnic at Fort Mifflin but we postponed it due to the heat. I am not sure what we will do this weekend. I guess we will just wing it. Modeling wise I need to straighten a few things up on the layout and choose my next projects. I may try to build another P2K Mathers stockcar kit. I have two left to finish. I may also pick out some more cars to weather.
SAMRA (club) train show in Balcones Heights (San Antonio). Russell Straw is spending the weekend at my house. I have to get to the show with Russell and maximize talking and looking and minimize buying and working, you know? Russell has his Sugar Land modules. Always great to see!
Well, my layout is at a model show this Sunday, so just making sure everything is A OK and ready to go.
ANAHEIM !!! I have to work Saturday. Sunday I will be at the National Train Show/ NMRA Convention in Anaheim. I'm going to be getting the crash course in operating the yard for my Ntrak club most likely.
Looks like I'll be cleaning up the house over the weekend. I've bought materials for a new bridge and a new ship, both of which I'll be building for publication. But that will have to wait.
I'm finished with most of the detailing on a Kato SD45 so it looks like I'll be doing some painting this weekend.
I get back in my train room after a week of no AC upstairs. I need to finish unpacking from DCE and start setting up some things for future Reality Reduced episodes. I've got a new setup and some new plans for the near future.
Last weekend I got the road bed cut and this weekend I hope to finish putting in the risers to get the elevation changes correct. IF I get that done I'll start laying some cork roadbed. -Brett
Scenery work for me- also need to run over to the local mega-lumber yard to get some Masonite for a background. And then just for grins & giggles, run some trains.
