Lots of Choices this year, mine is the KATO GS4 and the 10 PAK passenger cars. I think I will have to wait until after Christmas, but it would still be a surprise.
Santa doesn't have enough... ...elfs for the list I sent. Heck, even Rudolf went missing after getting the BOL (Bill Of Lading). Ma Santa fainted away realizing she was just gonna be alone for too long if he was to get to "that" list- what I sent. Maybe next year? Mark
My N-scale needs are on hold for the moment. Seems Z has bit and I have compiled a list of freight cars, a GP35 lokie, and track. I'll bet it will all fit in my stocking!
Ha ha ha.... I was just thinking my wish list would give someone at the North Pole a good hernia. Boxcab E50
Uh... what's Santa's budget? I think my wish-list would break the GDP of several small nations and require a whole unit-train to deliver. :biggrin2:
Not much....A Kato Santa Fe RDC-3, Atlas FM H15-44 Demonstrator, Some N scale structures. But since I'm not likely to show the list to anyone, it's largely irrelivant...LOL
my santa list includs beer and a new bass i dont need but want very much. come on santa! ill give you the money!!
N scale manufacturers don't quite have Santa's production and delivery schedule so we better make this wish list for next Christmas. Or the one after, the stuff we thought would be here this Christmas might be here by the next.:tb-biggrin: I'd like Kato NW2's in ATSF zebra stripe and UP, someone to do RSD15's and good FM and Alco switchers. Things I'm still hoping for this xmas are the replacement wheels for my challenger, undec 0-8-0, IM ATSF stock cars. There's probably other stuff but you have things on order for so long these days you lose track of it all.
The song "Grown Up Christmas List" is what first comes to mind. I'd really just like more time and fewer Multiple Competing Priorities, but that doesn't quite fit in a stocking.
I received one of my Christmas presents last week, a Key MT-1 with skyline casting. Of course, Kato delayed the rest of my Christmas till next January, when my GS-4 and daylight cars arrive. I'd also like world peace, but since I'm in the Navy, that would put me out of a job
A Kato GS4, SP Daylighter...would be nice. And, if Santa could find some room in his bag perhaps the accompanying Daylight set of cars. Hey, I play Santa almost every year why can't I make that happen. HO HO HO said with a jolly smile. Right now my focus is on my grand kids and their parents. Actually, Christmas isn't the time I look for or purchase model railroad goodies. That will come later.
Sure, world peace would be great. While we're waiting, for Hannukah I'm getting a Tichy wreck train set, including rotary snowplow (all kits). In regard to the latter, anyone out there have a tender they want to get rid of, or a really crappy steam engine plus tender that they would just throw away anyway?
I just want a nice time with the family. I could use some decoders for my diesels, but I'll get those for myself when the time comes. I had a weird thought. Happens often in my head. My brain is like a logging line with a million switch backs. LOL So anyway here goes. With my newfound passion for loco maintenance, my Merry Xmass gift to trainboard is to offer my services as tune up guy for the regs here. Anyone who's loco phobic and has a fave engine that's behaving badly, feel free to hit me up for a loco tune up as my Xmass gift to my fellow modelers. I'm mostly ok with fixing deisels, but I could be lured into trying my hand at steam. i'll cover return postage on the first five locos. Merry Xmass guys.
Oooooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dude, you must be a happy camper! Skyline casing always gets me going! What I want IM (I mean Santa) hasn't made yet! {Cab Forward} Oh well, I don't really need anything. I would probably buy a new DCC ready GP-9 Black Widow if it were available. Hint hint to Atlas!
I would also like world peace. SPSteam, I don't think it would really put you out of a job. I solve a lot of problems with buildings in my job, but I don't go around hoping for more leaks. Chaya, I think you'll like the Tichy set. I built the wreck train, and then I bought the rotary plow and misplaced the kit. I had fun doing the first kit. Their weight kit is really cheesy. I would recommend using something else. Failing that, I would like to finally get a Digitrax Zephyr. Adam
