This one randomly came to me tonight. I figured I'd get the thread rolling, and expect it might be a good one.

What's your engine list? Engine Model/Road name's/Numbers/and lets even do model manufacturer...

Currently for me it is this:

    1. Heavy Mikado - Burlington Route - #5510 - Kato
    2. Heavy Mikado - Burlington Route - #5510 - Kato (convert to different # in process)
    3. C-Type DD12 - Private Owned - no # - Micro Ace
    4. 4-6-6-4 "Challenger"- UP - #3985 - Athearn (only temporarily on my roster)

Can a loco be on a roster if it has been ordered, but not arrived yet?... if so...
    5. (as of January (hopefully)) GS-4 - Southern Pacific - #4449 - Kato :)

    So there is my roster!

    Lets see yours!

    That's for sure!!

I was just looking at an NMRA Scale Rails magazine and a layout owner who had 14,000 cars and 3,000 locomotives. That would require some bandwidth.

    1 bachmann dash 8
and 1 lifelike GP18 which should be showing up tomorrow some time.

my collection requires more funds haha

About 25 locos now, and maybe 200 working freight cars. Mostly ATSF appropriate for 1972: SD24s, SD40s, geep 7s, and some other odd locos and switchers. Two SP cadillacs. For Christmas, I'm getting my first steamer... Will run it as a tourist excursion... Need some heavyweight passenger equipment...

This statement is (completely) inaccurate. It is Todd Treaster's New York, Susquehanna and Allegheny's Pittsburgh Division in the Mar/Apr 2007 N Scale Railroading magazine. The correct number is 1350 engines, not 3000, and all these engines and 14,000 cars are not on the layout at one time. (Which, BTW, is a beautiful layout!) Todd is really set for operations with a 52 foot yard and arrival departure tracks that will hold 100 car trains.

Todd W. Treaster's RailImages album. Worth some time looking at this.

Todd's layout IS a monster, but not quite that monstrous!
But still, that's a huge roster!

    One and too.

One HO loco that even just storing it takes too much room. Biiiig box.

Too many N Scale locos. Thought I couldn't live without some of them. At least they are in sensible sized boxes. Except that Athearn thingy.

I guess if you include 5 ABBA sets ranging from two, (that include dummy BBA units), that are 25 years old sets probably to 2 that are less than 6months old then I probably have around 60. Freight cars? Maybe 500. Most of the equipment has been accumulated over the past 2 years.

However – Of locos I intend to actually run – Maybe 10. Couple of Kato CP AC4400s, a few Atlas GPs, and a steamer or two. Freight cars? I’ll probably rotate out 200 of them over time.

I'll bite. Thanks to an inventory program it makes this a lot easier cause I'd hate to have to type this all out. 95% of this fleet is all DCC equipped.
