I would like to see some other Norfolk Southern modelers trains out there. It's always nice to see someone elses work for a change. Scott
the actual runby low res vid, but passable http://s46.photobucket.com/albums/f123/river_eagle/N-Scale/?action=view¤t=8.flv
I don't model NS but wanted one for pool power. Kato SD45 that has been modified to a high short hood.
I don't model NS either, but someone asked if I could do a patch job for them. This was the end result. I liked the look of it and may have to do another one for my use in pool power. Not sure if CSX and NS really get along though..... :lightning: Brian
I model NS and CP from Philadelphia north, but: Neither my camera, my computer, nor my photgraphy skills are up to par, and the layout is still being built, but here are some shots of a pair of LL GP60's with an Atlas Conrail SD60M:
I like the setting of these pictures. What did you use for the wall behind the trains? I'll eventually need to model a retaining wall for my own layout and am curious how you did yours. It looks good!
I don't know about that, but I do know that NS doesn't like the SD80MACs. They're non-standard on the otherwise all-DC NS. They seem to stay hauling coal on the Pittsburgh Line. That's actually the first model C40-9 I've seen.
Red Rock, that is fantastic weathering on 2608, it really brings that unit to life, love to see more of your stuff, my best, Jan
Here are a few from my HCD+ layout. (hollow core door+) Foliage has not started to bloom yet, and m.o.w. crews have a lot of work to do with ballast and rust application, but it is a start. I haven't put any pics up 'til this point, but hope to show more as I progress. Scott, thanks for the nudge....
I literally see them working together every day. My work is just down the street from a GE plant. ALOT of traffic continually. Usually 3 consists an hours.
