I am trying to avoid using a reverse loop at all cost, but no matter how I lay my track on my layout I can't get the effect that I want.I do not want to have to manually switch anything to make my train go around the track. Turnouts are ok,but not regular running. I do not have a scanner for my computer, but I wish I could send some pictures so I could get some expert advice. Any help is: as always greatly appreciated. Thanks Chip
Chip, There are a couple of automatic reverse loop board on the market. I am not sure who makes them but I am sure if you Google reverse loops or something like that you will probaly find one. It sees the train and does the reversing for you. Shannon
Hey Jeffrey, I have looked for the Bachman unit you mentioned but can`t seem to find it. Any suggestions? Chip
Look here. http://www.bachmanntrains.com/home-usa/catalog/?function=detail&id=1542 This unit works on anything from N scale to Large scale.
That sure looks like DCC to me. I know there were a few articles w/ schematics in one of the recent N scale publications. I will try to remember to look for them when I get home.
Here is what I did for my DC reversing looop, all i do is revers the controller no other switch the only down side is you can reverse on the reversing section. More information on my wwebsite http://users.bigpond.net.au/railroad2000/
