I am in the process of designing my second layout. My first was a learning process. I used all atlas sectional track. I used #4 turnouts and 18 degree radius turns. I saw the error of my ways and am trying to improve on this in my new layout. On my new layout I want to use flextrack, 22 degree turns and at least #6 turnouts. My question is; What is the difference between Atlas custom and Atlas super switch?

If you look close at the diverging route the Super is a bit longer.
They are both the same angle just the Super will spread your tracks about 3/8" wider apart in a yard than the Custom Line version.

Thanks for the reply John. I guess that means that custom would be better in yard applications and super in normal switching.

    Thanks again; Chip
