OS EXTRA TB2000 Since I joined in March 2000, this has been my number 1 RR forum. I belong to quite a few Yahoo groups, esp. Frisco, Railspot, Texoma Railfans, MKT, KCS, etc., but this here is home. As a staff member, I'm not proud at all to be here. I'm humbled. We've survived some software issues, several flamewars, booted out the idiots, sadly lost some great members who "caught the westbound" to Glory, but through it all we're still here. Congrats to Charlie, Scott, Paul, Alan, all the other admins, my fellow moderators, and the entire membership for making Trainboard not just my home, but your as well.
As Bob has alluded to, TrainBoard is what it is not just through the Admin/Moderator team but the membership as a whole. As has already been stated, Charlie has possibly put in more time, effort and personal funds into TrainBoard than just about anyone else fronting a public membership forum. Thanks to all for your efforts.
Thank you Admin's My thanks to all the people that keep this train running.  I would like to say a personal thank you, but I don't want to make any one seem less important. So I send my personal thank you through PM's. My wife also tells me I am adicked to this web site.:embarassed:
This place is great, people are very very kind and willing to help you with our hobby. I'm from the Netherlands, Europe, and came by "accidentally" looking for information about North American railroading. I have learned a lot since I know Trainboard!!!
I've written often, and at length, about the community that is Trainboard. All of our members and guests can contribute to strengthening the community and making it more viable. Imagine a community of 7,000 train fans plunked down someplace in an unpopulated section of the world. We have daily town meetings about railroad stuff. We talk with each other all day long. We share knowledge freely, so we become one of the most astute communities about all things railroady. There is so much value here that I'm humbled every day, and excited to do better in my own efforts, both on my railroad and as a member of the community. Charlie, your dedication to this site amazes me!
