I am modeling a long gone branch of the Michigan shortline Manistee & Northeastern in Leelanau County. The branch ran from Lake Leelanau to Cedar then to a connection at Hatch's Crossing with C&O's Northport branch. Does anyone know what traffic was hauled on the Lake Leelanau branch or know of anyone that was around when the M&NE's Lake Leelanau branch was still in operation?
John the Manistee & Northeastern Railway started from Manistee michigan, and passed through onekama, kaleva to traverse city and up to northport and till 1924 had a branch to grayling. the thing i am looking for is what businesses were on the the shortline's Lake Leelanau branch
