Well, they are a Left Hand and a Right Hand #6 Kato Unitrack switches....what is this "T" word of which you speak? [Deacon rolls eyes and whistles innocently...]
Some stuff I preordered awhile back finally came in: MTL weathered sets in n scale and 2x Rapido HO cars (for a someday project if I ever get around to my Brooklyn HO switching layout) Atlas coalveyers in scrap service: A NS family tree flat car and two DODX depressed center flat cars Nuclear flasks for the DODX cars; I have a DODX from a previous release, so I needs three and they come in two packs: And 3 houses and two transload kits And some stuff I picked up off the auction site: Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Ordered some Bluford Shops green corn rows. I have a T-Trak 180 end module which is going to be a good place for a farm scene.
I ordered contemporary autos a couple of days ago. I will post photos when they arrive later this month.
I had to order a New SAN Enclosure and a Drive. The one drive in the RAID set failed, so the data is safe, but the cooling fan died in the enclosure. What does this have to do with trains? Well on those drives is my database of my complete inventory of all my trains, and all of my decoder files/images for all my locomotives in DecoderPro. Luckily I can recover all the data once these arrive. Even better, I get free shipping of the replacements.
My first ESM rolling stock which is this Penn Central 65' mill gondola. I was curious about their workmanship and since I don't have a store nearby to check them out I figured I'd take a chance and order one to start. Overall I think they did a fantastic job. The stirrups looked kind of thick from the online pics but naked eye they aren't noticeably different than the micro trains (ATSF also in pic). It's also a little longer and wider than the micro trains. Again not really noticeable until I took the load out of the MT and put it in the ESM where it has room to shift around in there but not terrible. Like the MT the end gates are moveable so overall impressed enough to pick up a few more when the time is right. Also got these tankers to get my free shipping on the order.
I picked up some budget covered hoppers. I think my next order will be MT trucks, since I have more than 10 cars needing conversion. Sent from my SM-S901U1 using Tapatalk
40 NEW Vehicles !! Not the greatest I've seen. Not the worst I've seen. Mixed in with the various other vehicles around town they will work fine for making the streets on THERR not look so desolate ! Cars mean there are people in those buildings !! .
Two-maybe the last two-FVM GEVOs I’ll buy, a tank car, and even more trailers. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Two more trailers-when work slows down a bit I plan on joining the NVNTRAK club-but I don’t have the bandwidth right now Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Piko 65 ton Whitcomb/sound. First loco from this brand and it is impressive. Very smooth operation and this may be the winner in my fleet for creep once I turned down the start CV value. Only one truck is geared but it has a traction tires so it can pull really good for it's size. Sound had me confused for a bit but I eventually figured out that F8 which typically turns on motor sound is actually a 5 mode revolving menu with a momentary push action instead of the typical on or off. You can have 1 or both engines turned on, operate non engine sounds only or mute everything. The head lamp even dims during the startup of the 1st engine and overall extremely good volume and quality.
Is that C55 rail? In a Trainworld email they say C80 rail only. My assumption is that it would hit the spikes in C55 rail.
