Looks great! I like your trackwork. It came out really good, looks just like a branch line. Fine work henrikH.
Hamiadadd2d, I can tell you have bad case of zzzz. Henrik, very nice suitcase. Z scaler are very mobile.
Thanks everyone! I am experimenting with an static grass applicator now.. I will fost the result om my site soon.
No, it is homemade... I have tested it now and the result are amazing! I`ll wait untill the glue has dried, and then i post some pic`s. The metod i have used is this: mjwiki It is Torsja hwo "invented" this... I used under $35 on this. But you need a quite powerful batteryeliminator and it is a risk of beeing chocked. So if you use a peacemaker i won`t recomend it.
I seen the tall grass picture Henrik, and it's looking good! Did you make your static grass applicator with a car coil? What kind of glue works best for making the glue stick, as I want to be able to vacuum around the track but not suck up the static grass? -Robert
Peacemaker? Like 'Insured by Smith & Wesson, policy # .357'? OOh, Pacemaker.. Heh. I knew that! Nice work! What is your radius on those curves? 8" or less?
Yes, it is made with a car coil.. The glue that works best is "woodglue"? (is that what it is called?) I vacuum the track after the glue has dryed and it is no problem.... I have found out that you need over 6 ampere to make it work.. Just so you know it.... So if you don`t have a powerfull batteryeliminator you migth just consider th buy the Noch version.
Nice work Henrik. Looking farward to se it on our next Z-Scale show in a few weeks. The "Grasmachine" can also be seen on my homepage or at http://www.torsja.com/modelltog/N-Scala/mars2003/18mars-gress/index.htm Here is my original drawing:
