    Taken 09/21/2018 at Bryson City, NC is Great Smoky Mountain Railroad 1755 and SOU caboose. The 1755 was originally SP 5666, built as a GP-9 in 1956. The GMSR operates excursion trains on a former SOU branch deep in western NC. The train wreck in the movie The Fugitive was filmed on their line.

    A car such as this one clearly demonstrates poor paint prep and application, when originally coated. :( If this was an automobile, that shop would be hearing from a lawyer... :(
