When I made my original comment, I was merely hoping we could talk Bill into a quickie video of his FM, so we could hear how the chip and speaker he'd installed sounded. I knew about the MiniTrix FM, later Model Power, having owned one or two myself......
Boxcab, Bill posted this on TRW a while back. It's Awesome! <iframe width="600" height="315" src="" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
My Atlas S2 with decoder. Took the decoder out of my FVM ES44AC that never ran well and is now on the 'deadline' and installed it in the S2 I still have to reletter it for THERR
I really like my ILSX SW1500 #942. I made it from a MT SP unit. I detailed it to match the proto unit.
Minitrix 0-6-0. An oldie but a goldie none the less. Has a new motor and extra details added since the photo has been taken (the photo is around 2 years old)
rome, check out the Weekend Modeling Fun thread posted each Friday. I always post a pic there. Also, go to Railimages to find my photos and photo of others. You will like it. Use HOexplorer name. Last you should make a habit of hitting the like button for stuff you like. Cheers, Jim
Awesome! Do you have any photos of the install? I recently picked up an Arnold SW1 (B&M 1115, blue) and adding Loksound would make for a great future update.
I took a couple photos as I did the install but didn’t get one before I put the shell back on. Here’s a link to a thread on The Railwire about it. Hope this helps. https://www.therailwire.net/forum/index.php?topic=46228.0 Jim
Thanks for the link! Here's my brand-new B&M SW1, which is a switch engine I had been looking out for. Right now it's equipped with a Lenz Silver Mini decoder. It needs some weathering, but I don't think it needs much detailing. Arnold Hornby did a bang-up job on these little locos!
Here’s my FM H10-44 in the as delivered paint scheme. It’s a Shapeways shell on an Atlas VO1000 mechanism.
That's a great looking FM unit. Did you have to do much adjusting to the shell or the chassis to get a good fit? Sent from my SM-J737T using Tapatalk
