    In the other thread where his photos appear, which I can't remember now, he said a freighter showed up the next day to load, so it is still active.

    That ore dock reminds me of the CN one in Thunder Bay (Port Arthur). In the beginning, the lead to the dock was a wooden trestle! :eek:
    For a time, they ran their sole Train Master (all 188 tons of it) up the dock (replacing two SW1200s).

    It would have been neat to hear the creaking of the timbers when a train was pushed up there.:cool:

    It was later replaced with a steel structure.
