Hello. I have been into model trains since I was a teenager ( a long time ago ). In the 1980s I switched from HO to N scale. I have a 9 x 18’ double decked layout. The top deck and staging yard are nearly complete. Completing the helix and lower deck are next on my to do list. Since I retired last April I have made much more progress on the layout. I look forward to sharing experiences and learning from the group.

My layout is named The Harlan Sub, a portion of the Louisville & Nashville’s Cumberland Valley Subdivision.
I model the transition period on the early 1950s.
I use a Digitrax command control system.

Welcome aboard. Should be fun to see your layout, I remember time spent in PAL areas.

I'm unsure when I first joined the TrainBoard Group, it was a while ago. I've been at other Forums, some of them look to be dying, so I'm interestsed in finding a more dynamic forum.

I model in HO and have been working on my current layout for 30 years. I was an R/C Model Aircraft guy for a long time previous to model railroading and have build models for more than 60 years. I model the transition and particularly the Northern Pacific out in Montana. Any other N.P. Modelers out there, i would like to hear from you!

    Mark, Ashpit
