To all, if you have ever had to repair a loco with loose driver(s), this may be a tip worth remembering. I have found a product that you may want to investigate. The product is 'LEXEL', a clear, elastic adhesive that has tremendous holding power. I have used it to bond plastic to plastic, glass to glass, and wood to acrylic.

The results for restoring the drivers to 'active duty', on a few steam locos I acquired, has been nothing short of phenomenal. This may be the start of the untold uses for this product. It's available at lumber yards etc.

Try it, you'll like it. Jark

This stuff is amazing. Reading from the 5 oz tube, "The tough elastic sealant for every job. Sticks to almost anything. Instantly waterproof. Paintable. sticks to wet surfaces." Mfg. SASHCO.
