The P&PU's double track bridge over the Illinois River is just to the right of this picture. This is the major choice point for trains entering the Western Division of the P&PU. Here is where they turn north toward the BN Short Yard, Rock Island Yard, and to the P&PU Middle Yard and ADM sidings to the north (distant right), or decide to go left (south) to access CNW, Peoria Terminal (RI and TPW) or the P&PU NB and SB mains serving industries in Bartonville out of the Kickapoo Yard.
