The gas station in Glen Rock, NJ in 1997 (an Amoco at the time, now a Starbucks). This was built around 1925 and was a Sunoco in the 60s/70s, so that's what it'll be on my layout.

A removable cassette that has folding leads to allow for easy transport/reversing. Also has a double-ended, double wye crossover in the middle to allow a train to return to the layout on either leg.

Here's the trackplan with structures, ground, water, roads, etc. The layout is to be built on hollow-core interior doors.

Here's a rough fit using a cardboard tube (from inside a food wrap package) and some scrap cardboard (cereal box). When I build, I'll use the tube, but the card will be doubled up (spraymount adhesive) to make it more rigid.

The most recent revision of the trackplan. Changes include: - modified the sidings at the top - decreased the grade on the coal company feeder to just over 6% (down from 7%) - increased the radius from 4.5" to 5.5" on the oil company feeder - changed the switching and main line at the switch near the station - added interlocking tower in the space made by that change

Latest version. I took the switch for the fuel oil facility and moved it to the main line feeder, then added a 15 degree crossing. This makes it easier to drop off and pick up tanks, as well as bought me another inch on the big grade up to the coal mine.

That was taken into a drawing program (InkScape) where I was able to create a correct scale outline.
