Tree planted in hill. The grout adds very little weight to the foam and readily accepts nail holes for planting without cracking. I will be using this technique on some large sections of the table as this project moves forward.

Second try with grout as a scenery base. Made this batch a bit thicker and it looks a bunch better. It was the same color as the first batch but washed it with thinned engine grey and a lager brush and then the texture really seemed to pop

PowerControl - The center outlet is actuall the feeds to the layout. The switches to the left control the split box in the center of the table for the track power and lighting. The dual dimmer switch will be for future use after christmas when a true back drop will be lit by LED rope lights Blue for moon light and orange for sunset.
