A-OK to me

Looking west from the former CRIP depot site at Howe, the ex-Rock Island which is intact from here to west of McAlester, OK- from there, sevefral washouts have the line out of service bewteen McAlester and Shawnee. Track at left is intercnahge with KCS. Arkansas-Oklahoma operates this line from Howe west to Red Oak, OK as needed

      April 2015 there are rail cars at the Taylor Industrial Park west of McAllister. LOTS of cars at the McAlister Army Depot, and work equipment on the tracks. At Calvin, it does seem to peter out, lots of trees on the ROW, but tracks seem to be intact to Holdenville. If you look, rails are still there north of Holdenville...Wewoka...grade crossings cut....bridges appear intact..clear to Seminole...well maintained, grade crossings, Ok City to SE of Seminole, where they have "stored" cars on the mainline. Crossing covered at Brangus Road 2 miles SE of the interchange at Seminole.
