Looking around the forum lately, I see some spectacular bridges from the likes of Mark Dance and Gary Hinshaw. Since it seems like I have been spending a lot of time working on bridges on my own layout, I figured a thread dedicated to them would be outstanding for everyone's viewing and educational pleasure. It will also get the creative juices flowing. Post up pics of your current or past bridge and tunnel projects. Scratchbuilt, kitbashed, or built up kits, weathered and unpainted, modern or old school... throw them up. I'll start: Up front we have bone-stock ME plate girder bridges, and in the rear is an Atlas C80 deck girder which I slightly kit-bashed to make it more prototypical.
You know I cannot leave this one alone! Coal load exit Tunnel 26 after a blizzard: Same location, hifgher vantage point:
Here's a couple of old photos from my Bend Track "T" module. Their a mix of KATO truss and ME deck bridges.
Didn't see the coyote...of course if I DID see a coyote, it would have been a DEAD coyote! (having problems with coyote's and sheep)
I can't top that, but I will keep the thread going... Tunnel 18; this is one of my favorite shots from the layout.
Over/Under meet at Jeans Bridge just outside of Jeans Valley. Highway 68 and Highway 69 bridges can be seen in the background. * Still lots of work to do in this area !
