Hi Phil. If you get to Wakefield show 'll show you some Architrees Pines I imported from the Philipines, they are fantastic I've used about 400 on Shasta so far so I've til got about 600 left for future projects! having said that my sympathies go out to 'Treedad' and his family near Manilla if they have had the sort of the battering by the tropical storm we've seen on the news KEV
I think I'm calling this done for now. I will shoot some video once everything has dries completely. Probably going on ebay, I will post the link in the appropriate section when I do. Thanks for looking!
Thanks Joe. It's just 6mm (1/4") ply cut into strips. The foam is coated with SBR primer and then the ply is bonded to it with silicone sealant, and with PVA at the mitres.
It's up, will post it in the market place too http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/171178894224?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649 :-D thanks James! Not sure about riches, but every little helps! I've put a starting price on this one, if it doesn't sell I won't be upset having not had much time to enjoy the finished item myself yet, but I just thought since Christmas is coming, someone might like it...
A few parting videos, hope you enjoy watching them as much as I enjoy making them! http://youtu.be/pse4BSwHd0k http://youtu.be/Bkk0N4BcHLw http://youtu.be/HRZgpXE2QLQ http://youtu.be/7GD-DLhbEPU
Well the new owner is very pleased and just sent me this photo of the layout in its new perspex case, with a custom made building added. I think it looks great!!
