...where are all the kitbashers and builders which got my detail parts and car kits? Nobody done anything so far? Would love to see the results!
What does the Mikado have to do with Gerd's question about his detail parts and car kits? :frustrated:
Nothing, just fun poke. I said I would not model until the Mikado's are released in several previous posts. I did however receive my beautiful new switcher from Gerd, but have not had a chance to setup a module for a photo shoot. I do wonder how many people received Gerd's detail and car kits? Here is a statistic for you though... I sold over 500 Z Scale Centerbeam car kits before I ever seen a photo of one built by anyone who purchased them. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk 2
Rob, who else is there to pick on? If they waited to be E8ed by something out of OR, they'd all be collecting stamps. But you did break one of the rules of trade shows: "If you show it, you must produce it in 12 months." Speaking of which, it's been just been a year since I saw some neat GPs in Denver, that I'm ceratin Gerd would do greT things with... Mark PS: if you're taking a poll that would be WP in silver and orange & "new image" colors.
Now Rob, let's be reasonable...........wouldn't you rather feel your fat wallet stuffed with our money from purchasing those Mikes? You know how impatient we Z scalers can be and sometimes we get down right testy about delays. We also get disillusioned sometimes when promises are made and then nothing happens until our attending nurses remind us that it is time again for another dose of Geritol. We're not really going to tar and feather you as I've heard some suggest, after all, we need that tar to repair some of our highways that are in need of repair. And we are still wondering if 'that' company in Oregon will ever produce any of their announced new products.....remember when? You couldn't by any chance give us a little glimmer of hope as to how soon? And Gerd, don't despair over not seeing any pictures of your products in use. Life often gets in the way of our dreams and hobbies. I for one would be modeling like crazy if life weren't keeping me preoccupied much too much.
Mark, If *I* were in charge of production they would have been shipped a year ago. Sadly, I'm a client of the factory - not the director of the factory. <sigh> Best, -Rob(A) AZL
I was so happy to see one of my kits actually built, so I know how you must be feeling right now Gerd, but just when you loose all hope, they will start to show up on the web.
On my side, no much time for modelrailroading nowadays. But my kits are in good place and a first loco, my GP9, should be under kitbashing in a short to medium future.. Dom
