Interesting depots that would be fun to build. I have done my share of scratch built depots but at this time, my plate is full of projects for other folks. One poor guy has been waiting patiently for 5 years for me to finish a depot for him. I really need to get going on it for him before he starts flogging me. Here is my favorite that I built.
Hey Ashley, how long has it been since you were in Monrovia? I live there too. Work has begun on the Goldline extension now that the bridge over the 210 FWY is near completion. As a result work has begun on restoring the old Monrovia train station and also a new stop in front of City of Hope where I work. Sorry, I'm not a kit-basher myself so can't help you there.
thought that you left modeling Ash...first, if it is not too much of a stretch for you, Walthers has an N Scale SF station...but it is brick. You can get it with or without the freight station, and it can be modified to be a stuco building very easily by filling in the brick lines...but you mightwant to grab one soon, it looks like it is being blown out.... http://www.walthers.com/exec/productinfo/933-3805 I can build it for you...as for scratch building, I foundan articleon scratch building an Espee station....too bad it is not the one that I want to build, but I might try it out...
I was last there in june, I live 50 feet from the ROW so i know all about the murder you speak of. My roomate keeps me up to date.
i have a kit version of the Azusa station pictured. i forget who made it but you can still find them here and there. I got mine last month at Allied Trains in Culver City.
